Collletttivo, founded in 2017 and based in Milan, is an open‑source type foundry and collaborative network dedicated to fostering community-driven font creation. Its mission blends typographic experimentation, shared learning, and accessibility, allowing designers to modify and contribute to fonts directly on their platform.
The collective—which includes around seven core members—publishes a varied catalog of free fonts (e.g., Ronzino, Absans, Aujournuit, Coconat) under open licenses, and shares projects, workshops, talks, and illustrated publications like Type Tales, which pair fonts with storytelling to bring typography to life.
