He regularly publishes in leading academic journals across sociology, work and employment, and social policy. His research focuses on labour market change, precarity, and how shifting economic conditions shape everyday life. As a quantitative researcher, he specialises in large-scale surveys and longitudinal data analysis.
Beyond academia, Brendan actively contributes to public conversations about work and social change. He shares evidence-based insights through media commentary, news articles, and conference presentations. He frequently speaks across academic, policy, and public forums.
Brendan also writes and contributes to research reports that translate complex findings into clear, practical insights. These reports support policy development, professional practice, and broader public understanding.
In addition, he authors and contributes to academic books and book chapters. His writing combines empirical research with sociological analysis to examine how social and economic change influences people’s lives over time.
