OUTFIT

Outfit is the digital storefront and signature apparel collection created by ++hellohello, an elite, award-winning design studio based in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Built in collaboration with designers and creative developers SEB® and Pablo Picart, the site serves as both a functional merch store and a high-tier technical showcase, celebrating the team’s collective creativity and deep passion for typography-driven streetwear.

The platform stands as a masterclass in modern front-end engineering, racking up prestigious industry accolades including an Awwwards Site of the Day, an Awwwards Developer Award, and an FWA Site of the Day.

Rejecting the sterile, predictable grids of standard corporate e-commerce layouts, OUTFIT® features massive typography, smooth page-flipping transitions, and responsive scroll physics where text and layout frames morph dynamically under the user’s cursor.

Key Features

  • Triple Theme Interface: Implements a flawless, game-changing aesthetic control system that lets users switch between high-contrast Light, Dark, and vibrant Red modes.
  • Transform-on-Scroll Mechanics: Features a motion-first layout in which large, bold typography stretches, transforms, and reframes fluidly as the user scrolls down the page.
  • Design-Centric Apparel Curation: Curates a signature line of custom garments tailored for creative professionals, featuring tongue-in-cheek design puns such as “Off by Design”, “Kerned Confidence”, “Gridlocked”, and “Command + K”.
  • Zero-Refresh Page States: Outfitted with an ultra-slick, single-page application (SPA) pipeline where clicking products triggers zero-latency transition animations rather than standard browser hard refreshes.
  • Minimalist Editorial Art Direction: Combines striking, high-fidelity merchandise photography with raw structural layouts, letting the visual spacing and monospace sub-elements ground the entire shopping experience.
