Ohno Type Co. is an independent type foundry known for creating expressive, unconventional, and meticulously crafted typefaces. Founded by type designer James Edmondson, the studio has gained a reputation for pushing the boundaries of typography with fonts that are full of personality and character.
Rather than producing purely functional typefaces, Ohno Type designs fonts that become a central part of a brand’s identity and visual storytelling. Their library spans everything from playful display faces to versatile text families, and their typefaces are widely used across branding, editorial design, packaging, and digital experiences.
The website itself reflects the foundry’s creative spirit—bold, experimental, and deeply rooted in the culture of typography.
